AsiaBeat Project : Lewis Pragasam & Friends @ MPO

This is a 1-night special performance from Lewis Pragasam & friends at Petronas Philarmornic Hall, 22 April 2010 at 8.30pm. This brings various Asia’s top music performers together to perform that night. “Hear the Colors, See the Music” performance also coincides with the 30th Anniversary of the Asiabeat Project.

Lewis Pragasam himself is one of most accomplished & sought after drummer in Asia. The musicians who performed included Malaysian music top icon Zainal Abidin, rap sensation Caprice, shakuhachi maestro John Kaizan Neptune (Japanese bamboo flute), Indonesian violin virtuoso Tengku Ryo and Thai jass chanteuse Natasha Patamapongs and a host of other renowned and up-and-coming musicians.

The concert mainly sponsored by the World Instant Noodle Association (WINA) and Dewan Filhormonik Petronas. I would like to thank Advertlets for the tickets to attend this great performance. The crowd is great as most of them are in their formal attire and this would be my very first time to come here for a concert performance. It’s a great opportunity for me to get to know people from this industry too.

One word for the performance: AWESOME!

After the show, I went to get the signatures from the performers & also to get few snapshots with them. Surprisingly, they are very friendly and cheerful people. Not much of a diva attitude anywhere!

That’s all, folks! Enjoy the pictures I posted here and do feel free to visit the link for more pictures!
